What is your opinion on wedding favors?
I am struggling with the concept of wedding favors. I've been to weddings where they've done something as eleborate like giving everyone a personalized bottle of wine. I have also received junk that I threw, gave away or left behind because they need them. After all, really do not need / want frames with my colleague, friend or cousions intitial or shot glasses with their wedding date on it. I also saw favors as easy as some of the swans plastic candy-filled mint (I loved playing those were a child) or candy or mints scattered throughout the centerpeice or a nice bottle. Personally, I preferred the couple save money for their house to spend hundreds or even sometimes more than one thousand dollars in favors. Or use it to return to college or a college fund for their future children. What do you think? How important were the favors for you?
As a guest, not important at all! I wouldnt lose a little. Always keep the program and the invitation to the wedding I think that's the best memory. I do not like the news. But if good, should be noted that parties prefer edible - Do not use matches light candles. When we married our favors were approximately $ 20 per person. In retrospect, utterly useless.
